Everytime I try to sell my prison my game crashes and puts me at the xbox home screen

We've had a further look into this issue and found that if you sell shares first and then try to sell the prison it crashes. However if you do either individually it works fine.

So for now don't do both, sell your shares or sell your prison but never both on the same prison architect map.

I have the same crash; however, I have not attempted to sell shares. I only try to sell the prison. This is a 100% crash on my console. I have attempted to reload the game numerous time with the same result. I have submitted a bug report as well.

Oh we have now found that if your prison value is over $250,000 you will crash as well.

Have current prison with $230,000 value experiencing the same crash to home when attempting to sell (no share were ever sold.)

Note: same map also experiencing infinite "Shop" delivery issue.

Thank you Butterfly, we're aware of this issue has Shane pointed out. But thank you for bringing this to our attention none the less. We're currently working on the Game Preview update as I type this, and hope to have something out in the coming weeks.

Every time i sell a prison it just takes me to the main menu after i get the phone call. If i then load it up, it correctly states that it has already been sold. When i press new game it starts me off with the normal amounts of money.

Am i missing something or is it bugged?

Tried to sell 4 different prisons now to no avail. Prices have ranged from 90,000 to 270,000.

Any help would be appreciated.

You're probably missing the option in the new game preferences, directly beneath the Starting Funds option. I just sold one of mine and snapped a quick picture to show you how it should look:
