Hi all,

Just a quick note with details on yesterday's update. Two changes for Xbox One as follows:

-Crash Fix: Players experienced game crash when starting the game up in Offline mode. This has now been fixed.
-Gameplay fix: When gang leaders died, they were not being replaced. Code fault identified and fixed so now Gang Leaders will be replaced within 10 in-game days.

What about natural selection for a gang leader? I have a gang with 15 members and they still have no leader. Over the last 3 in-game days I took in approximately 180 MinSec, 150 MedSec, 70 MaxSec and 7 deathrow and still no leader arrived for one of my gangs. In fact, through that enormous intake I only received a total of about 5 gang members. I actually took in more snitches which has always been a rarity in my game.

Gang leaders originally come in during intake I believe. If they die, there'll be an internal promotion within 10 days (recently patched for Xbox One), but the first gang leader arrives organically. I'll see if I can find out what the conditions are.

I believe the only condition was 10 gang members of the same gang. My other two gangs had no problem getting a leader. In fact, one came in as a legendary with extremely volatile and cop killer. There was no saving him and he was killed by guards about 6 hours into his stay and set off one ■■■■ of a riot lol

Haha! Yeah I feel like they always come in as a legendary but that might be my imagination. I don't play with gangs because I'm too scared of riots

I think I read somewhere that they only come in as legendary. I've only had one big riot and it was from the prisoners being hungry. I learned the hard way that if your prison is large enough then you need to be careful on how you build because the food ingredients will be halted severely for materials and then the prisoners get hungry and it's gets ugly very quickly

It is basically the thing of nightmares to me. I was running one map through on max speed for bug testing purposes and didn't notice the HUGE riot in my canteen. It was a sad day

The guard icon appears but goes away quickly if it's under control. I think in the PC version it notifies you if a riot is underway but I could be wrong. Would be a nice addition though
