Will there be Escape Mode

Will there be an escape mode. I have been looking but cannot see anywhere that escape mode will be implemented. Will it be in console edition or will it be a PC exclusive. I want to know because I don't want to spend more money for something i can get with a bit of patience.

Good job you asked! No, there's no Escape Mode on console, so if you primarily want that then go with the PC version.
