When are sniper towers coming to consoles

People keep on escaping even though I have a fence so I was looking to try and buy a couple sniper towers but realised they weren't there. I was wondering about the date that it will be updated on.

There are currently no content updates announced for consoles.

There are already plenty of options to make your jail more secure though... perimeter walls; dog patrols to check for tunnels; searches, shakedowns and metal detectors to check for tools; guard deployment; zoning; punishments; informants; etc. On consoles it's easy and cheap to build a moat to block tunnels too.
