Hi,
I've been playing this game a lot on the PS4 and have had a really fun, though frustrating, experience. Some issues I've encountered:

1) When having laundries in every cell block there are some blocks who never gets any clothes delivered. I've tried zone/dezone, reconnect the laundry sections. After a while I found another laundry in another cell block that hoarded lots of clean clothes (like 45 for a 20-prison cell block). So, I tried to connect that laundry to the one that was missing, waited a while. And then they were delievered... :stuck_out_tongue: It's happened like 4-5 times and it's quite annoying. I tried to build a cell block adding first the laundry and then the cells, as I figured it may had to do with no assigned laundry and defaulted on some other laundry, but still same thing. Is this a bug or intended feature?

2) Is there any way to know where the prisoners go during work or school? As I see them walk all around the map just to get to work, then miss out lunch because they had to go back (300m seems to take a long time to walk for 2h... i think zombies are faster). I wanted to have an open interconnected prison but the prisoners seem to walk too far away from their "home" so they miss out certain activities and a function like the laundry-supply would ease this pain. I can understand that they find the closest one available for their needs, and I could have smaller closed of areas but that doesn't do my symmentry-mind any good . Also, they seem to think the toilet on the other side of the map is much closer than the toilet right next to them. Any ideas how to build to get this to work?

3) Sleep. Sometimes, and I can't figure out any idea what it is, the prisoners just don't sleep. They seem to do that animations to go to bed (like faster walking then pop into sleeping) but instead of popping to sleep they just go back where they were. Do this the whole night and doesn't get any sleep. What I have to do is to move or rotate the bed, or at times install a new one. Quite irritating as I have no idea who these 10 people with critical on sleep are without going through all 500 cells to find the ones awake at night. (The Needs-tab doesn't really give that much information who the ones with critical needs are, would be a nice feature to have though).

The prison has all the cell blocks on the edge of the map with all the leasure and staff-centric stuff in the middle with a big road between the cell blocks and the facilities going around like a square.

Hey Fisk, #1 i have problems too. Sometimes the clothes just get stuck with the laundry basket and the janitors can't move them. So just dump some of the clothes and then the laundry basket. It should fix the problem. #2 You have to get D11_Nat the answer that. #3 THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS TO ME! Sometimes in the game the beds move out of place and you always have to move them, It's exhausting. I hope I've answered some questions!

Nat explained recently that a laundry basket can hold sixteen uniforms and things might not work properly if you have fewer than sixteen cells attached to one laundry.

Some random thoughts on question 2...

When you click on an inmate to view their file the Programs tab will show their previous/current courses and when you select a course in the Program menu you can browse the prisoners and see their current locations, but neither of those shows the course venue. If you view the Prison Labour menu during work time those fine green lines connect the work slots in the venues to their workers/students but they're hard to trace.

If your prisoners spend time in areas with armed guards they'll be suppressed which will cause them to walk slower.

Flooring materials will affect their movement speed too and adding paths of concrete tiles or paving stones (outdoors) can make a big difference.

If your have your canteen next to your yard and then schedule a meal immediately after yard time the prisoners can go straight from one to the other. Ditto showers and shower time.

Duplicated consecutive regime blocks will give less time wasted on commuting, for example if it takes 20 mins to get to work then you've lost a third of a single 1-hr work block but only a sixth of a 2-hrs block, etc

Inmates will only use objects in areas with room designations (yard, common room, etc) so make sure your toilets are in labelled areas. If you build an enclosed room (like a toilet cubicle) within an existing designated area then check your room labels afterwards.
