@D11_Nat talked about very specific requirements to get the snapshots to pop up. I'm having a heck of a time trying to get Yard Fight, Phone Home, Canteen, Hygiene Matters, Medical Attention Required, and Recreation Incarceration. I've tried for each of these ten times over, restarting prisons, new saves, deleting old ones. I've spent hours and hours of my life making prisons with the sole purpose of each of these Snaps and can't get a single one of them to pop.

I'm on PS4, any chance those specific requirements are out in the wild? It's my last trophy for Platinum, and it's bugging me so bad that they all seem glitched and won't pop up.

Or is this one platinum I am going to have to give up?

Hey wedge,

The snapshots are all working as expected, I've unlocked most of those myself on PS4 and seen the rest in the wilderness. It's also worth keeping in mind that snapshots DO disappear after a few minutes so there's every chance you've unlocked them several times over but missed the pickup window. I don't think you'd get them pop more than once in the same session without exiting and coming back in.

We don't have the requirements out anywhere officially but our wonderful forumer, @barticle wrote an amazing FAQ guide369, which has a section on snapshots (section 15).

I do like a bit of free publicity. :smiley:

The 0.4% completion rate for the snapshots trophy on PS4 shows how tricky it is but equally it shows that it's not impossible. Also the stats on psnprofiles.com show that several wardens have completed the trophy this month so it's not like it got broken in a patch or something (which can happen).

I've done my best to give general and specific tips for these in my guide but they still require a lot of patience, experimentation and game restarts.

Thank you to both @D11_Nat and @barticle! I will keep at it then.

I'll look up pictures of the specific snaps too and try to recreate the image as best as possible. I know you said the console requirements are eased a little, but I figure the closer I can get to recreating the picture, the better chance of the snapshot and finally getting this Platinum trophy!

Update! A few more prison restarts, and full restarts of the game (instead of just suspended in rest mode, for some reason this seemed to "reset" the snapshot memory and make them instantly start popping up again), and I was able to work through these last five and get them to pop up for me. Thanks for the final push I needed to get this done!
