Protective custody yard

Is there any way to stop pc inmates from entering the regular yard and only enter the designated pc yard? I made 2 separate yard sections via security sector 1 for pc and the other for every one else but what happens is exactly that no one goes to the pc yard (except the occasional pc) but everyone goes into the general yard, even pc people which while atm has not caused any trouble is just a matter of time. Is this caused by pc freetime maybe as since its freetime the game just picks something at random?

Do the protective custody inmates have a route to the pc yard? If one of the sectors required for the prisoners to pass through to get to the pc yard is marked as staff only, it acts as an invisible wall for prisoners & prisoners will choose the nearest yard thats set to Shared

Nothing other a few offices are staff only but your right about the them choosing part. After watching them go about their business yea they seem to just go to whatever is closet depending on where they are in that particular moment that they are scheduled for yard. They seem to wonder in to gen yard while coming out chow or work. Thanks for the help
