Hey guys,
With the announcement of the pre-orders being officially available today444! We also would like to share with you some details about our DLC we have planned which we're calling "All Day and a Night."

  • All Day and a Night introduces 8 new wardens, 8 new prison maps and 8
new plots to expand your prison experience and bend the rules.

  • Experience new prisons that range from ultra secure facilities with
moats and fences to luxury prisons with elegant cells and everything
in between. You can even land your prisoners on The Rock, the
notorious prison that inspired Prison Architect.

  • Build your penitentiary on exciting new plots, including an abandoned
oil facility, the banks of a historic lake, an abandoned city block
    and a desolate desert.

Meet the New Wardens

Hunter McGreevy
'Champion of prison labour' or 'slave driver'? Regardless of their competence, McGreevy puts his inmates to work. Inmates can use the Workshop immediately and the prison is paid more for all exports.

Rick Beresh, MD.
A disgraced doctor, Beresh uses the prison’s water supply to conduct his experiments. Showers have random calming effects on the prisoners, suppressing some of their needs by a small amount.

Tom Dunwright
Good ol' Tom can’t help but be a nice guy, even when he’s surrounded by cold-blooded criminals. Recreational objects such as TVs and Pool Tables have greater Need fulfilment.

Warden W-800
A prototype robo-warden. The W-800 applies swift retaliation to prisoners using upgraded Armed Guards. Armed guards are faster and those with Tazers have a greater accuracy when using them.

Walt "The Wolf" Wilson
A former inmate, Wilson prioritises inmate comfort over the needs of his staff. Lowers staff wages, Office, and Staff Room requirements. Attracts legendary inmates and those with reputations.

Shaun Fernandez
Known for being an 'affordable' builder due to his use of cheap materials. Reduces construction and workmen costs, but increases the speed at which prisoners can dig tunnels.

Nero
Previously a 'negotiator' between local gangs, he's still happy to accommodate his former patrons. Guarantees all three gang leaders arrive among the first batch of new prisoners.

El Cocinero
A 5-star chef, El Cocinero decided he could turn prisoner’s lives around using food. Adds a 'Fine dining' meal option and halves the cost of hiring prison cooks.

New Prison Warden Maps

The Hole
An ultra secure prison designed to hold the worst of the worst, extra thick walls, a moat and multiple perimeter fences make escape impossible for the handful of Super Max and Death Row inmates who call The Hole their home.

Wolf Yard Penitentiary
After some famous prison breaks in recent years, Wolf Yard has undergone significant security enhancements to house some of the world’s worst. The entire facility is built around a large recreational yard.

Montebello Correctional Facility
A marvel of function and design, this state of the art facility houses 100 inmates and their explosive tempers in absolute security without tarnishing the landscape.

The Motherboard
Designed using complex algorithms by the supercomputer AI B3-L4-CQU4, this prison is the epitome of efficiency. Inmates will soon find out if the AI likes humans or not.

The Rock
The Rock is the notorious prison that inspired Prison Architect, housing 302 inmates at its busiest recorded time in 1937, with an average of 1 guard for every 3 inmates. The Rock is now back open for business!

Clandestine Cove
Formerly a military installation known as =REDACTED=, this top secret base was converted into a maximum security prison after a =REDACTED= escaped and =REDACTED= 20 guards in the =REDACTED=.

The Lap of Luxury
This luxury facility puts its inmates first, with elegant cells that are better than most of the prisoner's real homes!

The Workhouse
This prison is divided in two halves. Minimum Security prisoners are sent to work in the large workshop. Everyone else is left to fend for themselves in the wasteland on the other side of the wall.

New Prison Warden Maps (Plots)

Phoenix Park
A plot of land to start your own prison. The derelict remains of a correctional facility are being earmarked for a new prison site. Will you fix up the old rooms or start from scratch?

Lonely Plains
A plot of land to start your own prison. The guards aren't the only harsh thing the inmates will have to deal with in this desolate desert environment. Is that an oasis in the distance or just a cruel mirage?

Offshore
A plot of land to start your own prison. This abandoned oil drilling facility has a number of connected platforms which make it a perfect place to construct a maximum security facility.

Black Knight City
A plot of land to start your own prison. A strange experiment in prison design. A whole city block has been condemned and cordoned off by the authorities for use as an "open prison".

Alcatraz Island
A plot of land to start your own prison. Only the ruins of the original prison’s foundations and walls remain on the island, so how will you rebuild The Rock?

Buchannon Bay
A plot of land to start your own prison. Hopefully the idyllic bay views will lift the inmate's spirits. Despite its location, surfing lessons are not included and running in slow motion is optional.

Jinx Island
A plot of land to start your own prison. This plot was intended to become German architect Johann Schmidt's stately home; unfortunately he disappeared before construction could begin.

Lake Exceptional
A plot of land to start your own prison. Build your prison on the banks of the historic Lake Exceptional, will you allow prisoners to relax beside the peaceful waters, or will you keep them locked in a windowless room?

Yep everyone can currently enter our little contest where they can design a prisoner and be in the game. All you have to do is log in to your forum account and select Profile > Character on our PA site. https://prisonarchitect.double11.com/character226

From there you'll be able to create you character, we'll announce winners at a later date but once if you make it, when you sign into your Double ID account in the game, you'll be able to see your character and number of others in the number of Prisons in the game.

Ok thanks just a little confused that GameStop is the only one doing it. Just wanted to figure out how to get a character in the game since there is no way to get the ability to buy them on console. Thanks preordered and submitted my character on PS4

I'm pre ordering on Amazon  I'm so hyped to play it on my ps4
