Not able to summon informants

I'm having a problem with not being able to summon my informants. I can scroll through them and recruit new ones. I can select "informant options" it only has the "summon" option (not able to scroll through to "fire" and when I select "summon" nothing happens. The suspicion rating doesn't go up and the informant remains idle. I have tried summoning each of my informant (around 10) with the same effect. I have also tried saving and reloading a couple of times including saving to a new slot but this has not solved the problem.

The obvious question is do you have a security room and available guards?

I tried firing my chief and that totally locks out the Informants menu so that's not it.

It's weird that you can't dismiss them. Are you seeing this effect on other prisons too?

PS Hitchhikers fan...?

It seems to have sorted itself out now. No idea why it wasn't working or what made it work again.

And yep, Hitchhikers!

Strange, but glad it's sorted.

Cool. I have a trip booked to Highgate later this month so I'll finally be able to visit DNA's grave.

The Beeb are currently repeating the original radio shows so you can listen on the iPlayer (probably UK-only).
