Never Buying Another Game

I'm never going to buy another game from this company ever again. I bought Prison Architect almost a year ago for the sole purpose of escape mode after watching a YouTube video. Needless to say I was very disappointed to find out I had wasted my money. To make it worse, I find out that they're never going to bring escape mode to console. Where I work, you need to make the customer happy so they keep returning. But your company has done the exact opposite, giving the customer what they don't want and withholding what they really want. In this case, we get to run someone elses prison which is absolutely no fun for me, but don't get to escape from a prison which sounds like a lot of fun. Bye, D11, you screwed me over, so now I'm not going to ever buy another game from you. Hope you go bankrupt.

While I agree with you I did my research on the game before not deciding to buy the game, if they actually added Escape mode I would buy this game in a heart beat but the game devs simply have not gotten around to it and they problem never will sadly.

Although "All day and a psych" was just brought out I still won't buy it till escape mode is actually added.

Listen to what your fellow gamers want devs.. We know what we want and we have been telling you for over a year now. You do know "The Escapists (is out and cheaper) and the upcoming Escapists 2" is coming out right?

And don't make this a paid dlc if you end up bringing Escape mode unless you do it better then PC.

EDIT: Re-opening since apparently I was a little trigger happy on the lock. Carry on guys but if this just circles Escape Mode then it'll be a one way ticket back to locksville, as has been said previously

While I agree that I'd also love to see Escape Mode and would happily pay for it we have to remember that devs are a limited resource. I do hope one day they can be assigned to completing this for the console version. No point in being nasty about it.

My question is if you dislike the game why did you make an account just to say all you wanted was go complain about no ecape mode if you want get the game on pc

I made this account originally to voice my opinion that escape mode should be on console, too. I do NOT have a PC. I bought Prison Architect only for escape mode. I read the description and NO WHERE did it say "escape mode not included" in it's description on the PlayStation store. I bought it and was really disappointed. Then later they say that escape mode is NOT coming to console, even though it's the most requested feature and after they said they'd consider it if demand was high. Demand was high, they considered it, and then they decided not to. Instead, they replaced it with world of wardens, which is a feature I find boring and useless.

Me too, I bought this game after watching all the PC youtube vids showcasing escape mode in particular. And while I was disappointed it wasn't in the game when I loaded it up first time, I was more upset to learn of all the other content that is not in it as well, such as female prisoners, heating, and the list goes on and on.
World of Wardens would be a nice feature IF escape mode was implemented, otherwise what's the point? Why would someone want to play another players prison when the game is about building your own
Console content should have been explained better before launch, but then they wouldn't have suckered the people in who bought it, especially with their "Escape mode may come to consoles if supported well enough" line.
Terrible port that the devs should be ashamed of being associated with, now they're lining their pockets by suckering in mobile players now.
And they wonder why customers complain when they get 1/4 of the game that was released on PC What a disgrace

Exactly. All content/features that are on PC games should be on console games, no exceptions. It's quite easy to see that they value PC gamers more than console gamers. They got our money and that's all they care about.
