Insane don't use the yard!

I've got insane prisoners (Thanks for psych ward) i have a few questions...

1) My insane prisoners stay in their cells during yard and shower time, how come?

2) Do they revert back to normal prisoners after seeing the psychiatrist?

3) Should they be separated from other prisoners?

Hey @petulant

1. They do use the yard and showers but the needs requirements are different, which is part of the added challenge! You'll find certain things that the CI inmates will de-prioritise, with hygiene and exercise being the major ones (self care). It means that a lot of the time, many inmates won't carry out those activities until their needs are more extreme.

2. No but it does ease some of their needs dramatically for a few days (Privacy, Comfort, Safety and Freedom Needs)

3. That's entirely up to you, based on how you run your prison! They need specialised cells but there's nothing to say they can't mix with gen pop.

i just got the dlc and i would not take any chance, my insane prisoners will get their own block isolated from the rest of my prison
