Crash issue picking up were left off

I am not sure if this is a game issue or the Xbox its self, after playing at night when im ready to quit I just go straight to the Xbox home screen before shutting the box down, when I start playing the game again I pick up where I left off and after about 10 min the game slowly crashes, first everything freezes then unfreeze and then it boots me to the Xbox home and I have to restart the game. Like I said not sure if this is the game or the Xbox, putting this out there to see if others experience the same.

I'd be interested to hear. I've tried replicating crashes on xbox for another player yesterday and can't so in their case I suspect it might be their system.

Is there any details you can give us about the save? How large it is, how many inmates are there, what mode are you playing in (and even which prison are you using if in Warden mode)?

It could be the wifi. If your connection resets or reconnects when you go back into the game then it will usually crash any game because it's going from online to offline and back online again. Happens with a couple games for me..

Interesting! I might see if I can replicate this at home with my wifi. Don't fancy the reaction I'd get for unplugging the company router

Made my own prison. Save size 4.1Mb. Day 165 250-300 inmates. Gangs are active. I'm not positive but I do believe my world is from before the last patch update(before gang leaders was fixed) and I think the crashing started after the update. Not sure if that matters.

I never fully exit a game when I stop playing and it's never happened this often. My Wi-Fi always connected that I'm aware of. It don't seem to crash unless the Xbox has been off for hours. The game was in full speed when I picked it back up, maybe th as t-shirts something to do with it

My prisons were before the patches as well and I haven't had a problem. Remember, even if the wifi is on and your Xbox is off long enough your Xbox disconnects from the wifi. You'll see the same way l thing with Netflix. It automatically restarts when you go back into the application after powering on

Try loading the game and making a separate save for it. I wonder whether the save file got corrupted between updates? I haven't heard of this happening but it's worth a punt.

In fact, I've just had another user over on Twitter who was experiencing strange crashes and changing the save file fixed it for him. I have my fingers crossed!

Making a new save file seems to fixed the crash issue. Will I have to make a new prison for the gang leaders to start working right? No biggie if I need to restart, building the prison my favorite part.

I would have thought that Gang Leaders should fix automatically following the last update but possibly not. Once the 10 in game have passed, it might be worth assuming it's only fixing it for new saves!

I don't think it fixed... I have 2 gangs with over 20 members and still no leader for around 50 on game days

No good. It must only fix it for new gangs then in that case! Boo. Out of interest, do your gangs have lieutenants?

The yellow gang did but I didn't pay attention to whether they were released or just lost the position when the leader left. Currently purple has a leader with 3 lieutenants, yellow has no leader and no lieutenants with over 20 members and the same for the 3rd gang. They had over 10 members for probably 120 days at least. Did you try creating a new save file first?
