Thanks for the question! If by cheats you mean you a way to advantage yourself the console edition offers a number of things you can do through the game preferences. For example you can choose a range of starting funds all the way to unlimited cash so you don’t have to work about making money while you’re learning the game. Once you get comfortable with the game you could pick a small amount of starting cash but throw on a percentage increase in intake payments per prisoner.

Aside of just cash we’ve added options like being able to turn Prison Gangs off to make things a little more manageable. To give you an idea of how easy or hard you’re making the game for yourself we’ve also preselected and grouped all these preferences into overall difficulty settings. Otherwise if you’re asking if we’ve added Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start to add in a second player - then no we haven’t done that, and even if we did it wouldn’t be much of a cheat if we told you

Hi there,

We've not decided on an exact date at this stage but we are heading for a Spring release. At present we want to spend a good couple of months ironing out all the little bugs and polishing the gameplay. We feel really good about the progress on the game as we begin to look towards the launch of the Prison Architect console versions.

At what point you encounter some serious lag in the consoles? Beause from what i saw the game runs pretty smoothly, even in the massive prison shown in the video

Hi thanks sneckster for your question, and for supporting us by picking up Prison Architect whilst it's in Game Preview. For the time being, I'm afraid, the only way to edit your plan is to clear it completely.

Being in Game Preview, it is still very much in development. Prison Architect is going to change over time – we have a few updates planned in between now and the full release – and we're addressing issues as we go, continuously making improvements to gameplay.

We know this can be frustrating but I've just been informed by Design they are planning to alter the planning tools, which will most likely make it's way into a update for GP in the coming weeks.

Hi guys, had my eye on this game for a while, played the trial, love it. Just a few questions before I make the purchase.

When are Xbox achievements likely going to become available in the game??

Are there specific goals to aim for in the sandbox mode??

Are there going to be anymore Prison Stories than the current 5?

How often is the game preview version likely to be updated??

It says on the game preview that some games might never reach a full release, what are the chances of the game getting a full release?? I suspect it's 100% but just making sure.

Been waiting for a game like this in Xbox One for a long time. Thanks in advance for any answers. 😀

Yes, 100% release chance. Also they have repeated multiple times they have no set release date for spring. Trust me I am excited to but. Finally the only goal for sandbox is to build a functioning prison. Have a nice day wardens!

I bought this on release day(XONE), so addictive!

What I'm wondering is if there's a list of known issues for the current version, I have run into a couple things that could be me effing up but my attempts to undo the issue have gone nowhere.

The first one is that my warden is consistently nagging that I need more toilets, even though I place enough to drown the entire country of Russia.

"Seriously we need more toilets!"- Warden

"Seriously, each cell has one, holding cells usually have 4+, and I have tried making dedicated bathrooms with 15+ in them. How many more can you need?"- Me

The other issue is I have dog handlers just sitting in their kennel instead of going out and doing stuff, I assign areas or patrols to have them and they stay there and in the kennel room. ■■■?
