I think I did this the other day, the frame rate started to slow down about when I had 5000 people (including prisoners and staff) in a small prison. Nothing is finalised yet, this could increase or decrease by launch.
Not at this time, this may change in the future.
We spent a lot of time designing our console editions with our friends at Introversion (the original creators of Prison Architect), including what content we would carry across from their PC version.
Believe it or not, it doesn’t start with let’s take everything they did and decide what to remove. We looked at our new edition with a fresh pair of eyes as someone playing the game on console would, and said what would make THAT version great. So, certain and more recent features in the PC version may not be included in the console version, at this time.
Not at this time, or else we'll be saying that
We're currently matching their 1.0 update, which means no female prisoners currently but depending on how well it does on consoles we may add 2.0 features found in the PC version.
We very much wanted to keep the same feel of the game, or else what's the point really. I feel like we have streamlined the UI a bit, mostly for a controller, but you can do a lot of the things in the PC version and a few more. And thank you, the UI was the biggest part of the pitch when we took it to IV, so a lot of work has been put in my our great designers.
We've currently removed a lot of the current ones in, there was quite a few negative things with them and we thought it would be better not to have them. However we do have something planned for those with "Name in the Game" edition, keep an eye on the PA site, forums and our social media in the months to come.
