Hey Master, good to see you back on here!

There aren't hundreds of thousands of players asking for Escape Mode! I think you're using a little hyperbole there Also, consideration isn't the same as automatically green-lighting something. We wouldn't have had the conversation at all if it wasn't for the feedback received. As I said before, the consideration took the form of a long consultation process where we looked at lots of different factors and reviewed our initial decision to not include it. Having seen first hand how thorough this process was I'm more than confident in saying that we made the right call with the best intentions. If the team say it can't or shouldn't be done then I trust them!

I recently bought prison architect for the Xbox one, with the anticipation that the game would be the same as the pc version. Well after a good,30 minutes of screwing around I realized that some things are missing. I couldn't find things like the escape mode, tempature, hawt water, etc... Wondering if I'm just crazy or are these things actually gone I looked,it up on the ol'interwebs and got here. I read through this forum and was saddened to see that despite the high demand for escape mode, it's not happening, even though they said that they would add, it if the demand is high. I feel slightly cheated by this and the fact it's not on par with the P.C. in terms of features and objects and what-nots. I read how the devolpment team didn't had no interest in giving us console gamers what the P.C. has to offer, but come on guys, that's just down right low....

Okay, I'll admit I was a bit harsh in my last post, but I had another question. I've noticed that since the games official release (june 16th) there has only ever been one update, and an odd one at that. Now I enjoyed the sniper/sniper towers, but I doubt I'll ever get into all the cool walls and floors you guys added. Neverless I thank you for the update. But it's almost been a year since it's release and only one update has ever been released to my knowledge. Is there going to be more? Of so when? Will we ever be on par with the P.C.?

Hey Skyler,

To answer the questions from your second post:

1. Likely not. Certainly not in the vein of the last Community Update to my knowledge, unless something changes. Most likely updates going forward will be bug fixes.
2. See above. Also, with updates we'll almost never announce them before they go out to the public.
3. Nope. We've tried to be as clear as feasibly possible since the off that this will not have (and was never intended to have) content parity with PC. This is and always has been a different, reworked, version of the game as opposed to a straight port.

Is it me, or is the ''Prison Industrial Complex'' achievement on Xbox One not working?

Additionally I'd like to know if more updates are planned + bunk beds?

Here's the skinny hoss, Im a fan of prison architect and I can defiantly live with the game as it is, but theres nothing particularly unique about the console version of it. We got quick rooms, which I am very thankful for, but to my knowledge that's it, if you don't want to do a straight up port from pc at least add some content so it's not just the pc version dumbed down for console gamers

Also i believe that an escape mode dlc for us consolers might be a comprimise, so that way we get escape mode and you can rake in the money from the DLC, if ya dig

Console has loads of differences!
The UI and menu system is the big one
Prison Stories is another
World of Wardens
The entire building pack from the community update (walls, floors, cliffs etc)

But on Escape Mode, that's straight up not going to happen. We did also consider it from the point of view of a DLC too, which was ultimately deemed a no-go. Further DLC isn't ruled out but Escape Mode is.

Actually there is world of wardens in PC you know the steam workshop in the pause menu? (PC) you can download prisons from other for use it for escape mode.

Hey Killer, no need to post this more than once. I get notified for every post and if I don't reply it means I'm too busy or I'm trying to find out more info.

I doubt there'll be any new updates in the style of the community update we did before as that was a one-off. If there's nothing announced it means there's nothing I can say, whether that's because nothing exists to talk about or it's confidential. As soon as information becomes available, it's on here

So I bought The Full Arcitect Mode And It Says I Have "Unlimited Funds"

When I turn that on it dosent give me Unlimited Funds Am I Doing something wrong please tell me! I just wanna have fun

I just needed to say and (partially request) that on the xbox one edition of prison architect, is further land expansion available as i dont seem to be able to expand land after the north and south expansions. Meaning i only have staffrooms, offices and stuff like storage and deliveries.
Overall, i just need to say is there a way to expand my land or can you patch the game to do so as i am a massive follower of your game and have been saving for this. I hope you are in a position to do so. 🏻

So, certain and more recent features in the PC version may not be included in the console version, at this time.

So in other words they're going to milk console players money with terrible exclusive dlc like Psych Ward while PC players get to enjoy the game the way it truly should be played. Just great

Wow. I was genuinely hoping for Escape Mode on consoles. The worst part as that they said that they would do it if the demand was high. When it DID get high, they just back-handed the Console community and said they weren't doing it.

Come on guys, can you PLEASE add Escape Mode? The demand is high and its been a long while now.

Psych Ward is a cheap expansion that adds the Insane prisoner category with new reputations, padded cells and psychiatric treatment. It also adds two pre-made prisons and two maps for Prison Warden mode, two new wardens and the Breakout gameplay setting which increases the threat of escape tunnels.

It is "cheap" in what u get I will agree on that​
Two maps no one will play a padded cell and a new inmate type u have to start an entire new game to play. Ya that is fabulous man pffffttt
