If you want a doctor (or other staff) somewhere you can put the cursor there and hire a new one, although they might just wander off.

You can use the Guard Response command in the Emergencies menu to summon one guard temporarily. Keep pressing the button if you need more! They'll do any nearby guard business that needs doing then return to whatever they were doing before.

PS If prisoners can't get drugs they won't OD! Doge patrols in deliveries make a massive difference.

Patrols should have time slots, no need to patrol the yard at 3 am when no prisoners are in it. It would also lower the amount of guards needed to be hired to keep from over working them.

Umm D-11 can you please fix the issue on Xbox 360 when I have prisoners and I have a canteen and a kitchen but my cooks won't cook and my canteen keeps saying no prisoners assigned to this canteen

If your canteen and cells are in separate buildings then you need to build a secure perimeter around them (the cheaper fence option is fine) or an enclosed route between them.

Otherwise you can use the Logistics menu to check and amend which cells the canteen serves and (if you've been using it already) the Security Sectors menu to see if any category coding is blocking the route.

Yeah I did that but even if I keep using logistics to cells and canteen it still doesn't work and I tried the fence.but for me it only works if I use quick rooms and when I build a larger canteen it doesn't work but I'll try the security sectors hopefully this works😅

Hi Reed, there was a Name In The Game competition before the game launched and there were some pre-orders that received codes to make inmates. We're not currently accepting new entries, excluding the pre-orders.

@Deubiedoo, no new content scheduled as of yet. Any new content will be added based on demand and sales etc and we will make an announcement if this is the case.

I got a question, if the console verson wasn't completely finished why did you release it? There's obviously a bunch missing from the console version. Unlike the PC you can rename the inmates, have more multiple different objects and the cherry that puts it on top, escape mode. There was a ten dollar cheaper game I could of bought instead that had a mode like this, but I thought the this game was quite old so I was like, "hmm, I'll go with Prison Architect instead over The escapists, because I thought the developers had the whole entire PC version smack down into the console, besides, it's new gen, not like miss anything or release the game early right?" Not trying to sound like an asshole but this is a couple of years old, the new gen came out about a year ago, the last time you updated was around the beginning of August soooo.. Everyone is wondering, when's escape mode coming out? Can you at least give us an awnser? If it's not coming out I don't want to waist a half a year than know it's not coming out... THEN buying the other game too. I'm just upset when I found out that escape mode is unavailable for console. Please respond back when you get the chance.

FYI- Although PA on PC has been out for a couple of years, it's not been its complete form. Escape mode and various others weren't added until Dec 2015, far into our development process for consoles. The last (and final) major update for PC was only this month. This is not the same version, it would never have been possible to create the same version.

We are not withholding information to torment you- there has not yet been a decision on Escape Mode. When that decision is made either way, we will let you know.

The last update was indeed the beginning of August, which is three weeks ago. The next one will be coming within the next fortnight, putting our updates at about once a month. These updates are generally bug fixes and Name In The Game intakes and will not contain new content.
