Hello, this is from someone who has bought this game on pc and console, buying it today I wash absolutely shocked to not find escape mode anywhere in the game. Escape makes up a huge part of the game on pc and not including it makes sharing prisons almost useless.

The developers have claimed they may add it if there is demand and I just want to express my extreme disappointment at seeing this feature dropped from a game that seemed to have a solid if long development history. There are no other extra features on console that make up for it and it feels incomplete and something I cant recommend without it, for all the times I have felt that the devs came through they really dropped the ball on this one.

What can i do to lower the smuggling because i cant stop it the prisoners get every time drugs weapons and all the stuff even after a hole prison search

Hi @xDark013,

Here's my advice from another thread on contraband levels:

Yeah it's just one of those things. If you've got a prison with a lot of work spaces that the inmates can legitimately access, you're always going to have high contraband. There's no way to really stop it altogether unless you remove access to the contraband. Plenty of metal detectors, guards, regular shakedowns will keep it under wraps but it will always be high. I'd maybe recommend having a look at the Contraband menu and seeing what the common items are. Maybe they'll point out areas where your security is a little more lax.

The prison I'm currently playing has VERY high contraband levels but I'm also pretty secure and the inmates are all happy so there's no big drama

I'm pretty sure you can you just need to wait a while before the bank will lend to you again. I've never had my rating shot so I'm not 100% but everything I can see in notes and on guidance suggests it's the case. Give it a day or two in game and then try again, let me know if not and I can do digging.

Bart told me that the console build is around alpha 35 while the last alpha is 36 its been months without a update so maybe we will get escape mode in 8 years when they do 2 more updates.

Hi - I've just purchased the PS4 version of the game and it starts to load and then issues a message "Failed to connect to the server due to a Network error". The PS4 is definitely connected to the Network as it performed a S/W update at the same time. Any ideas please ?
