Growing tired of waiting for any news of an update...any update. There's no reason to hold a grudge to the developers they did convert a great game for us players but we need an official notice to say the game is done no updates no nothing just just to clear things up. I keep coming on here having high hopes to hear of an update.

Was just about to purchase for my PS4 and then saw there was no escape mode? Uninterested now. What's even the point of vlbeing able to download your friends and random peoples prisons if you can't try to escape from them? Like literaly what's the point? Like why did you guys specifically add the ability to download prisons on the consoles if there's no escape mode?

yes please escape mode will make the game much better and much more fun + some new stuff like sniper towers is also needed in the console version.

Developers won't do it, sales have already peaked and lost momentum. Happens with all games after a couple months. Great job on the developers though, why put effort into making a feature your fans want when you already made your money off us. Im no longer interested in the game, probably not the only console player either. Greedy devs, smh

An edited version of a post I made elsewhere on the forum. Sorry in advance:

I've had it confirmed that Escape Mode is almost certainly not going to come to console. I don't like to rule things out completely but I think it's best to be over-cautious on this occasion.

We spent a good chunk of time exploring the possibilities with our good friends at Introversion, along with Female Prisoners, and in reality it just wasn't a possibility. We took all of the suggestions away and worked through the list, weighing up things like popularity, feasibility, value to player etc, which is how we came to the Community Update. The update includes one of the most popularly requested features (second only to Escape Mode), Sniper Towers, along with a building pack which contains floors, walls etc that you can't get on PC (another popular request).

Apologies in advance for the inevitable disappointment
