Hi sorry @RedHoodJT I meant which specific review. I've seen all of the metacritic articles and couldn't see any references to escape mode so wanted to see whether there was any I had missed. I just had a look at the user reviews too and one of them does say it's got Escape Mode which is obviously wrong. Nothing I can do about the user reviews though

to be completely honest, although I do realise in order for them to release a playable console version escape mode had to be pushed off the board. But without escape mode, Prison Architect is just another building game. The idea of making your prison as good or as bad as you wanted then eventually being sentenced there yourself and trying to escape it was the sole reason I bought the game on console. It's what drove me to make the best prison on my cousin's PC version and what made me want to buy it for console. It was such a great experience. Escape Mode is an ESSENTIAL piece of this game and it's been left out. I'm really hoping Double Eleven realise this and include Escape mode in the near future. I'd like to be cosied up in bed during christmas cracking some skulls open and stealing spoons from the kitchen for digging.
Escape Mode is a whole new gameplay experience, to see from the prisoner's point of view instead of the Architects and it's like having two games in one! It might be the new GTA5 but in Prison if you have another story mode and added Co op/Splitscreen with extra activities for this! Even a two player version of cops and robbers, like one player is a convict and the other is a guard!
We need Escape Mode!
Hi I just bought Prison Escape for PS4 and foolishly assumed that escape mode was included. Unfortunately it seems by assuming I've made an ■■■ out of U and ME. It's a great game without it but to be honest I payed the money exclusively for Escape Mode, please add it. I can't seem to find any recent threads so I hope the ball's already rolling on this one. Thanks for making such a unique game
Hi @Master56
Sorry to read about your expletive-causing frustration. Players have never been told there is an escape mode coming, and there may well not be. Also you might not be aware, but four months really isn't a very long time in game development.
Hope you feel better
